Joel Coen's new film is his take on the Shakespeare classic Macbeth. Starring is wife Frances McDormand as Lady Macbeth and Denzel Washington as the character himself. This is nothing new, as Washington played Don Pedro in Kenneth Brannagh's Much Ado About Nothing. In Baz Lurhman's Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio was played by Harold Perrineau. In the theatre, many black actors have also acted in Shakespear plays.

However, this is not stopped the Anti-SJWs, who have pounced on the new Macbeth trailer. This follows the revealation a couple weeks back that God of War Ragnarok would have Jotun Angrboda being played by a black actress.

A common narrative in Anti-SJW circles is focused on the changing of a character's race for a woke virtue signaling agenda.
