Jeez, I sure do say "Focal point" a lot. Here's a short, unscripted little analysis/tutorial for lettering in comics using one of my favorite examples. As my followers know, my friends and I love making comics so I do a lot of research on them. Unfortunately though, most lettering tutorials on YouTube talk about the technical aspect of creating word bubbles but not the artistic side of it and the thought process behind placement and implied movement of them. So I thought I'd give a look at it from a perspective of "why do they do it that way?" Hopefully someone finds this informative or helpful in some sense, or at the very least a little entertaining. Next up is a Punisher review! (maybe some Bad Comic Art too)
