The Atari VCS, formerly known as the Atari Box, launched this morning on Indiegogo. While most of us were doubtful how successful a new Atari system could be in 2018 the launch has so far proven to be a smashing success for Atari crushing their original goal of 100 thousand dollars in mere minutes. With the current backing set over 1.7 million dollars, it looks like the Atari brand still has some value left in current times.
