The Joker is back.... again. Matt Reeves released a new deleted scene from The Batman, featuring the Dark Knight asking his arch-nemesis Joker a few questions about The Riddler. This scene is heavy on the out-of-focus artsy stuff and light on any real substance. We get a nice close up of actor Barry Keoghan as The Joker, scars and all. He definitely channels Heath Ledger a bit. Specifically with his gum licking moments. His teeth and overall appearance is much worse off, however. Overall this scene felt like a Silence of the Lambs moment with Joker standing in as Hannibal Lector. It's not bad but I'm glad it was cut from The Batman. It only seems to exist to showcase The Jokers existence and kinda diminishes The Riddler as the main threat.
