We will he discussing a very cool Easter egg that was in the Batman trailer that was featured and just who is actually helping the riddler.

Robert Pattinson has very much made a statement as vengeance I mean batman in the new trailer for Matt reeves Batman.
W are getting a dark dark take on the riddler as he tapes up his victims face ready to play his games with Batman but one thing instantly caught my eye in the trailer.
One of the clues that is sent to the Batman by way of a gruesome crime scene.
Batman is given a card from a ‘secret’ friend. On it, is an owl which is on its own simple it’s just a card from a friend but when opened are some weird little symbols
and these with the owl means this is a huge Easter egg meaning the court of aowls are coming to the cinema.
The court of owls appeared in issue 3 of Batman during new 52 where their lairs were found in the 13th floor of certain buildings around Gotham city where there were ‘nests’.
The members of the court are people from the richest and most powerful families in Gotham and asssainte those in their way using their talons, frozen assassins supplied to them by haleys circus,
that city’s that dick Grayson resided and he was supposed to become a talon.
The court wanted to kill Both Bruce Wayne and Batman as when Bruce returned to Gotham he used his money to rejuvenate the city and Batman was keeping it safe at night.
This would fit the timeline as Bruce is only in year two and must have gotten the attention of the owls masked court. Bruce is just finding his feet as batman but I would imagine that the court of owls are not please with this
whatsoever. The merging of storylines can work here and they could even be orcherstrating things from the shadows and revealing themselves later in the trilogy would be very cool. A mystery that shows the court be shown but not also
shown would be a lot of fun. They are the best thing to be added to the batman mythos in over 20 years in my opion.
The riddler is also killing those who are very very powerful in Gotham as we saw in the trailer. Matt reeves has said that multiple stories are being adapted such as dark victory and the long Halloween.
Long Halloween follows Batman as he trie to stop the infamous killer and dark victory picks up in the aftermath. Instead of a Falcone serial killer, I think they are using the riddler who kills and then makes a game of it,
I just hope we don’t have to find almost 300 trophies to finish the movie. But how could the riddler know to target the batman? Well more than likley he has been slighted by batman and probably locked and and reinvented himself to become
the trickster we come to know.
I'm not saying that the riddler is working direct for the court but they are using him as a warhammer to break the batman who is messing with their interests in gotham city. If you squint you can see a likeness betwen the riddler
and the talon outfit, I'm joking but what if he learnt the owls secrets and wanted to be a talon? No probably not, that's just me having a bit of fun.
What leads me to believe the riddler is being emplyed by the court of owls is that matt reeves said thsio "It's the Gotham experiment. He's trying to figure out what he can do that can finally change this place. In our story,
he's in that mode, that's where you meet him. You see that he is charting what he's doing, and it seems that he's not having any of the effects that he wants to have yet. That is when the murders start to happen,
and then the murders begin to describe sort of the history of Gotham, in a way that only reinforces what he knows. It opens up a whole new world of corruption that went much farther."
You start to see this epic history of corruption and gossip, that you start to understand well," This makes sense as we see the corruption throughout th ecourt of owls, their history is gothams and bruce's history is also gothams, they
are intertwined of course. It's all a game to show how the bat and bruce are cimplicit by history in this too. In the telltale batman game, thomas wayne was implicated with the falcones so maytbe this is where they are goingf.
