21Hideki Sonoda is your favorite screenwriter's favorite writer. He was one of the original writers for the Pokémon anime, and only three years into his tenure, he took on the arduous and rewarding job of writing the movies following Takeshi Shudo's retirement. This is the story of his almost 20 years with Pokémon, starting with the original series and ending with his removal during Pokémon XY, following a special interview I had with Mr. Sonoda earlier this year.
