Synopsis (credit Anime News Network): Uppers is a third-person beat-em up brawler developed by Bullets and published by Marvelous and XSEED Games originally released for Playstation Vita in 2016. This review focuses on the PC port of the game. Uppers is centered on the tale of two street youths – Ranma and Michiru – arriving on the island of Last Resort. It is a town overrun by desire and amusement where the only thing that matters is strength, especially when it comes to the island's women. The two set out to prove their mettle, impress women, and make their mark on the city, running up against a rogue's gallery of tough fighters and assisted by a roster of female companions or “Queens” along the way.
