Considering it is the 35th anniversary of the Castlevania franchise...what better way to celebrate than to do a massive retrospective on every mainline game ever released from Konami. From the NES 8-bit originals to the Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, PS2, Xbox and beyond! Because Castlevania is retro gaming royalty and it's only fitting we pay it some tribute!

It's time to talk about Castlevania: Rondo of Blood! Widely considered to be the best non-Metroidvania Castlevania game ever made...and I'd agree! It may be the best game ever released on the PC-Engine too! Richter Belmont is here to slay Dracula in 16-bit perfection and he's brought a friend...Maria! Honestly this is as good as retro gaming gets! and it's the precursor to Symphony of the Night on PS1!
I played this on the MiSTer FPGA PC Engine / TurboGrafx 16 core but I own it on an original disc as well...because I had to have it lol
