I did my best with quality on this, but Touhou is still the way it is, and the way I did cropping and all... it's probably best to play the video windowed. Fullscreen if you want, but pixelation will be unavoidable. I'll love it if/when the games ever work in 1080p60, but I don't think ZUN has any such plans for HD re-releasing old games.

This is a collection of old recordings, so that's why the quality is also inconsistent.

This is a video of me against the most difficult and iconic Touhou bosses. I never saw a video showcasing all of them together so I decided to make one. That being said, I only included battles from the Windows generations because PC-98 would be tricky, seem out of place, and isn't part of ZUN's canon anyway. Also omitted is any Touhou game that wasn't a traditional Shoot-'Em Up such as Urban Legend in Limbo - it'd just seem out of place in this video.

But even if not featured, I still put them in the character selector. I wanted to put most of the most important cast there. I think all the ones I included are the most critical ones. Even characters that couldn't appear in this for whatever reasons, if they're important I at least threw them into the select screen anyway just to note them.

I only included stages where I felt it appropriate or the stage theme is really popular.

Oh, and for atmosphere, some of them feature remixed music.

I made the bosses of Perfect Cherry Blossom the final ones because it just felt right. The Prismriver Sisters, Alice, Yuyuko, and finally Yukari, they feel like they're the canon final stuff to me for some reason. Not having Yukari be the absolute last boss wouldn't feel right, and PCM in general feels like the most "core" Touhou game to me, the theme of Cherry Blossoms being so core to Japanese culture and therefore Touhou as well. It just felt right putting those at the end and having the final battle against the master of the barrier that defines Gensokyo while being showered in cherry blossom petals.

I really did consider making Reimu and Marisa the final battles... but I wanted there to be some kind of consistency here, and they're supposed to be the protagonists.

I DO NOT monetize my videos in any way. The only reason there's any ads on this is because of copyright claims on the video (copyrighted music, pretty much all of my videos seem to have SOME kind of copyright claim on them - blegh - I'm not going to dispute them because I figure that'll risk my account getting deleted, so I just strongly suggest getting an adblocker).
