8422020 was a generally uneventful year for movies, as release schedules shuffled in the wake of the pandemic -- which means there was a lot in store for 2021. Blockbusters were officially back this year, but so were artful indies, and everything that moved us from tears to cheers. Whether you were heading back to theaters for the first time or staying hunkered on the couch, there were plenty of new films to keep you entertained.
