The BF2042 Beta was good but there are big problems…
9In this video we review the GOOD and the BAD from the Battlefield 2042 beta. There are several design flaws from this beta such as the specialist system, running out of ammo, constantly, the user interface and being able to recognise enemies or friendlies and the poor hit reg.
But also, there's tons of stuff that makes this feel like Battlefield came home this time around, like the actual gun play, vehicles, the amazing graphics even on low settings, and the balance of the map. On the whole, infantry play is really good. But what happens when we run a Breakthrough map? Chaos?
My first impressions of this game are in this video, which I'll talk about. And i wasn't wearing rose-tinted glasses when coming into this Beta gameplay weekend, I was just a fan trying to experience what Dice wanted us to experience. Obviously the beta is a few months old snapshot of what the game looked like a while back, so lots of bugs have been fixed.. so it's not the bugs and glitches we're concentrating on.
Battlefield has come home. And I for one, am super excited to get started on launch day.
