One of the unintended consequences of Adam production, was time passing. As Little Sisters were used for the production of adam by implanting a slug into their stomach which increased the ability to make it, the one variable not considered is, what happens when they grow up? Upon hitting puberty, it would become apparent that not only were they incapable of producing adam anymore, but that their bodies would undergo a different form of puberty that left them larger and more powerful than your average Homo sapiens.
