The Binding of Isaac: Flash Vs Repentance
116The Binding of Isaac is a classic indie game, but how does the original version stack up to it's remake and further expansions?
I guess I'll write a short review of this game in the description here:
The Binding of Isaac is a really fun game for it's time, but using flash and some game design quirks really holds it back. The Binding of Isaac: Repentance is one of my favourite games ever and I play it quite often (the playtime in the video is wrong cause I uh, used to not have it on steam for a while) but I usually ignore the original nowadays. That being said, when I came back to this game for this video, I was surprised how much I was still enjoying it despite all the annoyances. I guess it goes to show what a solid core gameplay loop can do. This game is really weird so I find it very hard to recommend it to any of my friends, but I still try to lol. 6/10
