The Blockless Sage? (Diceomancer #2)
0Welcome back to the world of the deckbuilder-style roguelike known as Diceomancer! I really have a softspot for games like these, and for some reason I found myself replaying Diceomancer recently.
In this video, we play out an Ascension 8 run with the Sage. Typically, the Sage is interested in stringing together Miracles (spells that you draw outside each opening hand, for bonus effects) and has a heavy Fortified/Block subtheme for more defensive play. In this run, however, we attempt to forego adding Fortified/Block cards in favor of a more aggressive, draw-focused version of the Sage that will stack Virtue triggers and rattle off miracles to beat enemies early.
