5The BoondockZ is an American animated sitcom created by Gavin [REDACTED]. It is based upon his manga of the same name. The series premiered on August 25, 2021. The show begins with an alien family, the Saiyans, settling into the fictional, friendly and overall human planet of Earth. The perspective offered by this mixture of cultures, lifestyles, social classes, stereotypes, viewpoints and racialized identities provides for much of the series' satire, comedy, and conflict.
