Remnant II takes the proof-of-concept formula of the first game and expands it in every direction. Excellent TPS mechanics and creative weapons combined with fun-to-explore level design and an excellent reward structure create a super satisfying gameplay loop. Although it definitely has some performance problems, I find the whole thing so compelling that I still want to recommend it as a great take on the Soulslike formula. It's priced well and has plenty of content to enjoy, let's just hope some patches address the framerate issues.
