25In this short of Elevated Dread, we find something that tells us the building is haunted. This game was full of jumpscares.
Elevated Dread is a tense and atmospheric first person horror adventure where a kid attempts to put up flyers in a squalid apartment block.
In Elevated Dread you have been given your first job – putting up flyers for an upcoming Halloween bash. You’ve almost finished, but you have one apartment block left to do. It’s pretty run-down and there are missing children posters outside, but surely nothing bad will happen….
It does feel like perhaps some of the game mechanics have been removed (there are hiding places but nothing to hide from), but other than that Elevated Dread is a great little horror game. It’s got a very intense atmosphere, it does a good job of telling the story via the environment and there are some great jump scares. Your flyer posting job really has some ups and downs!
