A condensed movie version of the tactical third-person shooter XCOM spinoff's story, focusing on the one subplot I found genuinely interesting.

At one point, I wanted to do a full Let's Play of this game. Thorough, in-depth, and with a lot of editing (providing uncut commentary, separating out optional dialogue, etc.). But my friends and I got 40% through before fatigue set in for me and we realized we weren't making it entertaining enough to compensate for how, well, boring The Bureau can be. It didn't help that my reason for wanting to LP the game in the first place was in the last two missions of it.

In the end, I decided to scrap the Let's Play and get right to the point. Here's what I wanted you all to see: A BioShock-style play on the nature of the relationship between a player and the player-character, the controller and the controlled. What it's doing in this game, I have no idea, but I love it.

There's a couple more videos to follow after this one. One is a full comparison of Base Visit 7, and the other is a podcast-style postmortem of this subplot and the entire game with the original LP guests, my friends Oblivious and Azureink. Once all of that's out, I will finally be able to put this game to rest.
