162Here's one of the fastest-charging electric cars in the world: the BYD Tang L.
It can reach a charging power of 1,000 kilowatts at this station, equipped with two connectors. The car has a charging flap on the right and another on the left, allowing both terminals to be connected simultaneously and achieve this megawatt of power.
In concrete terms, this means it's possible to recover 400 kilometers of range in just five minutes, or about two kilometers per second. An impressive figure.
The BYD Tang L, however, is reserved for the Chinese market and will not be available in Europe. But this demonstration is inspiring: charging an electric car as quickly as filling up with gas is a game-changer.
