Players take on the role of Jacob Lee, a cargo ship pilot who finds himself unjustly incarcerated in Black Iron Prison, a maximum-security facility. When a mysterious outbreak transforms the inmates into grotesque "biophages," the prison descends into chaos. Jacob must fight for survival, navigating the terrifying corridors and uncovering the dark secrets of both the prison and Callisto itself. Along his desperate journey, he encounters Dani Nakamura, a determined leader of an underground resistance, and other key figures like Captain Leon Ferris, Warden Duncan Cole, Dr. Caitlyn Mahler, and fellow inmate Elias Porter, as he battles to escape the horrors of Jupiter's Dead Moon and the creatures surrounding him.
