What's up, nerds? In this video, I am reviewing one of my favorite books written by a local NOLA author - The Casquette Girls. This book was a random gem found at Wizard World Comic Con and BOY am I happy I found it. It takes place in a post-Katrina New Orleans as a young girl comes home to find that there's more to the death and destruction than a hurricane. She finds out that she's actually a witch and the famous tale of the The Casket Girls is more than a myth.
