A video I've been working on for a while, but real-life things kept getting in the way of me finishing it. With that said, here it is finished finally!

A showcase of every single Castrol Tom's Toyota Supra in the Gran Turismo franchise, all 5 versions of it. Yeah, I'm not including the Woodone Tom's Supra or the Petronas Tom's SC430 to keep focused. The Castrol Supras are some of the most significant race cars in the entire GT franchise, I bet more people associate these cars with Gran Turismo than the actual auto racing series they're made for.

For each car, I just showcase the car while mentioning a couple things about it like how to get it in each GT game or how well it did in the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship. With that said, I hope you enjoy this video.

Notes:
- I was inspired by Mattj155's Raybrig tribute video when I decided to make this.
- Embarrassingly, a good amount of the time I spent making this video was capturing footage of every race car in that intro part.
- The most odd thing I noticed is that the only Castrol Supra between 1996 and 2001 that didn't appear in GT was the 1998 version. In which was recently found abandoned in 2020 at a Chugoku Warehouse. That Supra luckily is now being restored and will eventually be ready to rejoin the other Castrol Supras.
- Oh and another Castrol Supra not on this list was the original Castrol Supra from 1995, when it was in the GT1 class before GT500 became a thing.
- There aren't any Castrol Supras in Gran Turismo Sport and since GT7 is held back due to the...errr...thing. Well, we don't know if it's even confirmed for that title. All I know is that 1997 model is most likely to appear since PD was hard-set on revising every premium car in GT5 & 6 for Sport's DLC and I bet that's continuing in GT7.
- No, I don't think the 1997 Castrol Supra will be in GT Sport, I think the GR Yaris and the upcoming GR86 DLC cars are just a result of the ongoing partnership between PD and Toyota. Which I think is only involving their new stuff. Even earlier Toyotas are probably going to have to wait until GT7.
EDIT: and I was right, the 1997 Castrol Supra got revealed back in September 2021.
- Random Fact: While the road going Mk.4 Supras used the 2JZ-GTE Inline 6, these didn't. The JGTC Supras used a 3S-GE engine, similar to what the Toyota Celica rally cars were using (3S-GTE). Around the early 2000s, Toyota switched to the 3UZ-FE V8 for torque reasons.

Songs Used:
- Isamu Ohira - Slipstream (GT3 In-Game Version)
- Dave Aude - Go Gran Turismo
- Masahiro Andoh - Moon Over the Castle (GT5 Prologue Mix)
