Zeus presents The Chaos Engine (un-emulated) for the Atari STE, a true classic from the golden era of Atari gaming which must not be forgotten alongside the software house and all programmers that were involved in making this game.

Year of release: 1993

Well I think It's safe to say that no other version of this game would be able to touch the Amiga version, Snes came close but was still way behind, sadly this Atari STE version does fall behind like the other versions too but more so for this and it really boils down to two main reasons, the first is there is no in-game music making the game feel very empty as far as the atmospheric element goes,...and the second is there is no awesome speech like It's Amiga conterpart, it just feels so hollow without the likes of "NODE ACTIVATED", "PARTY POWER", "PLAYER SAFE", "FOOD" and "LEVEL COMPLETE" being spoken which also makes me think there isn't any speech on the ending.
For an STE version I expected better, tha graphics are very close indeed to the Amiga version but sadly the lack of in-game music and speech just makes it feel empty and hollow in comparrison.

I hope all you Atari ST fans enjoy this upload.

A huge thanks goes out to "The Joy Of Sticks" who was kind enough to send me this game through the post so I could play, record and review it, please visit his Youtube channel dedicated to the Atari ST: https://www.youtube.com/user/thejoyofsticks

Also a huge thanks goes out to "Retro Computer Shack" for kindly donating an Atari ST scart lead to my channel to enable top picture quality through the original hardware, please visit their store, they produce top quality compossite and scart leads for many retro computers and consoles: http://www.retrocomputershack.com

Also a huge thanks goes to "Mutant Catterpillar Games" for allowing me to use their Atari STE so I could produce this recording, if you want to bring back your ZX Spectrum from the dead, this is the man you need!: http://www.mutant-caterpillar.co.uk/

I will also always state weather i am using any cheats in the game, if not mentioned then i am not using any.
