0This is the easiest and cheapest way to permanently restore yellowed, hazy, and oxidized headlights using sandpaper and Rust-Oleum American Accents gloss clear coat spray paint. Please note, the method used in this video is not an exact science, and we used whatever materials we had available on hand to film the video. Feel free to experiment with different sandpaper grits, clear coats, and methods to achieve the best possible, longest lasting effects.
The basic method used in this video involves using sandpaper to wet-sand down the yellowed oxidized factory headlight clear coat and using store bought Rust-Oleum spray paint clear coat to re-apply a new clear coat that hopefully won't yellow or fog up again for a while.
