This is a speedrun of divinity original sin 2 definitive edition on the nintendo switch console.

Before this I had never touched the game on console.
In this video I prove that Divinity on console can be beaten in less than one hour. Using tricks that quite a few people told me were impossible. With a little innovation every trick except "Item Fling" was executed as it requires a 10fps frame cap, which isn't possible on console.

The speedrun itself is definitely slower than PC overall because every single thing you do requires 2 or even 3 times as many inputs on controller VS PC. I definitely understand that my run was highly unoptimal. I am willing to bet there are some console players out there who understand the controller mapping much better than I do, and could probably finish this in under 45 minutes.

I Plan on releasing a Guide for this speedrun, BUT it will only explain how to do each trick as it's done differently from PC, IE. wall clip, killing alexander, pyramid movement, pickup cancelling, etc. So if you're intrested in that you can use both my in depth guide if you're brand new to the speedrun and this one to beat my console speedrun.

I haven't been able to find any console speedrun on youtube whatsoever so If you do happen to record/upload one, let me know! I'll definitely check it out!
