The Contrast of Xehanort and Sora
187The Kingdom Hearts series has had some controversial storytelling decisions, however within the oft-times convoluted story, there is a powerful story about the battle of selfishness and selflessness.
With the final chapter of the "Xehanort Saga" coming upon us in the form of Kingdom Hearts 3 later this year, I wanted to discuss the nature behind these two characters: Xehanort and Sora. These two share many commonalities, yet they also couldn't be any more different by their very nature. This stark contrast places an interesting relationship that may seem very distant, but is more connected than most people give it credit for.
In this video, I will explain why I find these two characters so interesting and what kind of message this ultimately sends.
