45Hey everyone, how’s it going? Tekken is celebrating 30 years this year, so I thought it’d be a great time to pay tribute to this amazing franchise by compiling one of its most iconic features: the throws. Hope you enjoy!
Quick disclaimer: Any Tekken player knows that King, Armor King, Nina, and Anna are the true throw masters of the series. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say all their throws are iconic. However, to keep the video from being overly repetitive and ridiculously long, I had to be pretty selective—especially with their throws. I picked the ones I thought were the best and limited combo throws to one or two per game.
One more thing: I tried not to repeat any throws, so if a throw appears in one game, it won’t show up in another. However, there are a few exceptions I found interesting enough to include despite being repeats—either because of some differences between the versions or simply out of curiosity.
Sorry for not adding a timeline; unfortunately, the chapters for the video ended up being so long that I exceeded the character limit.
