We're starting yet another game in the Ys series, which is the re-release of the remake of Ys 3, Oath in Felghana, originally on the PSP, but the original one was originally originally on the TurboGrafx-CD, which was in and of itself an advanced port of the original-original one, originally released on the PC-8801. WHEW, what a convoluted history. Anyway, the original game which I also streamed was a 2D side-scrolling action adventure game, with this one being a 3D top-down/isometric-view action RPG built on the Ys 6 engine which is the same engine as the Trails in the Sky trilogy, so spiritually it's very similar to the original despite being a completely new game, hence why I'm streaming it. This is the 3rd game sequentially, yes, but the 7th game I'm playing in the series. So, wish us luck, and let's go!
