The CS:GO Tournament Controversy Explained
There is a war on the horizon for CS:GO.
And we're not talking about Ts, CTs, bomb plants or team rivalries.
We're talking about Counter-Strike’s inexorable crawl towards year-long circuits and franchised leagues. In 2020 we have multiple leagues grappling for supremacy in CS:GO esports -- two of which seem to be going head to head in a war for teams, eyeballs and survival.
And this weekend, we saw the opening shots fired.
