The curious Case of Armored Cores 3rd Generation
107Armored Core 3, Silent Line, Nexus, Nine breaker, Formula Front and Last Raven. These are the games contained within what people call the 3rd Generation of Armored Core, which is by far the largest one the series has ever received. I played the very first game, AC3 and the last game, Last Raven, before moving on to generation 4. I had always heard that the 3rd gen was something special for many people, and that Fromsoft sort of perfected the “old-generation-formula” with these games. So does that statement hold true? Let’s have a look at what my Armored Core 3rd gen experience looked like.
