The video was the "haha"s, but here's the real truth. This update has been awful for milsim communites, modders, scenarios/mission makers and everyone in between.
The immediate, glaring issues is the lack of a slider to control the distance between "unconscious" and "cardiac arrest" damage despite their claims that this new system was more controllable, the ability to disable cardiac arrest as a system if not desired, and the balancing of armour and bullet damage, especially between the "unarmoured twigs" and "body armoured gods".

There's many more issues, like how you bleed with the speed of a fire hose, body armoured players can't be killed in a certain mode via anything but headshots, the deflections of rounds into arms and head, the Sum of Trauma bug where you wake up and immediately go back unconscious every time until someone else bandages you and more.

We are very aware that mods will not always be immediately compatible, and that's fine. But even vanilla is broken, and they've not given us the tools to fix it.

The most obvious solution is to simply have two versions of ACE, one with new med and one with old, much like TFAR and TFAR Beta. This one is clearly not ready for release. I love ACE, but I sure as hell wish they hadn't done this.

As a result lads, it's likely that until this is resolved the next ArmA fustercluck is going to be rather delayed. Might have to find old footage. Sorry.
