The Darkness II is a first-person shooter video game developed by Digital Extremes and published by 2K Games. The game is a sequel to the 2007 game The Darkness, and is based on the comic book series of the same name.

In the game, players control Jackie Estacado, a mobster who is possessed by an ancient entity known as "The Darkness." The game is set two years after the events of the first game and follows Jackie's efforts to maintain control over the Darkness while being hunted by a secret society known as "The Brotherhood."

The game features a unique "quad-wielding" gameplay mechanic, which allows players to wield both weapons and the powers of the Darkness simultaneously, such as summoning tendrils for melee attacks and creating black holes. The game also features a branching narrative with multiple endings, and a co-op multiplayer mode.
