The Deadly Sue: TMS Plays The Walking Dead: Michonne | Episode 1.2
2It’s time for round two of Sam Riedel’s adventures in The Walking Dead: Michonne, Telltale Games’ adventure series about the fictional heroine from the TV show and comic book franchise of the same name. Last week’s episode featured Sam playing through the very beginning of the game up to the first checkpoint; this week’s episode will bring Michonne (and Sam!) through to the second checkpoint.
This episode begins with a time-skip to “three weeks later,” so you’ll definitely want to get updated on the previous episode if you want to know Michonne’s back-story. This chapter focuses on her adventures with her companions aboard a boat, avoiding zombies on the mainland but still occasionally needing to scrounge the nearby islands and occasional abandoned boats for supplies, water, and so on. Too bad they can’t just find an island, clear it out, and live zombie-free for the rest of their days, huh? (That’s what Michonne’s actress Danai Gurira recently recommended to Stephen Colbert as her ideal zombie-proof shelter.)
