The Definitive Way to Play Super Mario World - Widescreen + Restored Soundtrack
10Here is SMW with a patch that adds widescreen when playing on bsnes-hd and CD sound quality via MSU1. The sound pack used is a restoration of the original SMW soundtrack before being compressed to fit on the game cartridge. I think it sounds pretty nice! The SA-1 enhancement chip is also included in this.

It should be noted that the ONLY flaw when playing with MSU1 is that the game is unable to seamlessly transition between tracks when riding/dismounting Yoshi. Different tracks can be played, but it sounds messy since it doesn't pick up right where the original track left off. For that reason, the feature isn't present in this video. It's a small sacrifice for better sound quality.
