We all know that Conservatives have terrible education rates and largely force their children into homeschooling to indoctrinate them into anti-historical and far right viewpoints on minorities through blatant disinformation. This is a WELL KNOWN phenomenon.

So it stands to reason that when you see them saying things like "the Dems are the party of slavery" while they proudly fly Confederate flags and defend Confederate statues with their lives, it's literally because they don't know the history of the party switch. They also don't understand that Republicans in the 1800s were the "progressive" party while the Democrats were the "conservative" party. They wanted to "conserve" the "traditional values" of slavery.

Remember kids: Conservatives want to sell you an idea of history that is blatantly false and scrubs it of the bigotry and moral failings of their ancestors. Don't let them! Stay educated! Stay WOKE. I mean this sincerely.

We live in an age of misinformation and simply knowing your history is the first step to combatting this! Listening to minorities is the second and LARGELY most important step!
