Today we were to end our time with The Shrouded Isle, and perhaps we did, but this is just the first half of that stream...

The Shrouded Isle is a horror game mislabelled as a management game. You are put in control of a cult modelled off of modern American cults (think Heaven's Gate or more recent organizations). Mechanically you are simply balancing 5 bars and trying to find the 10 specific traitorous cultists. In theme however you do foul deeds to maintain an isolated and severely ascetic cult in the service of a sleeping Lovecraftian deity while trying to find and murder the 10 sinners whose lives your god demands. Its also one of the few horror games to actually disturb me for a substantial amount of time.
