This is just a demonstration of my reasons that I do not shade colors on home studio that much. it's because when I scoop up the color slightly, the color won't blend in smoothly which that game lacks of it. the smudger tool just bleeds out the dark shade ness is the answer.

Note: I'm using some plastic rap to cover the screens on both consoles, and I don't have a screen protector for the wii u gamepad either.( it's not around in retail stores anymore ) however, I do have screen protectors for the new 3ds xl,but their screens are not scratch resistant so....they're scratchable. the more times you use a stylus to draw more often, the screen protector itself will have more scratches to blur up the touchscreen when you can't see much on it.

But on pokemon art academy...you can definitely scoop in the colors almost perfectly for blending in colors close to one another, and that's why I use that app game a lot for shading colors of my drawings. although,I don't know if nintendo will make an art game for the nintendo switch or not.( who knows, and probably will happen in future terms I hope )
