The Division 2 Pre-Order Monetization Scandal

"Discovery" is the new "Pride and accomplishment"!

According to Ubisoft, monetizing inventory space is not about greed, its actually about providing "Comfort" and "Engagement". Making players pay for launch-day access to "free" content, is not about profiteering, its about "Discovery".

Move over Star Wars Battlefront 2! Ubisoft is hell-bent on becoming top-dog in the monetization business, and business is looking good.

Perhaps the Pre-order bundles are some kind of elaborate hoax marketing strategy, where the initial bundles are intentionally obnoxious for the sole purpose of providing Ubisoft with an opportunity to back down, and appear benevolent and caring.....because, you know... this MUST be a joke right?

Welcome to the Division 2 Pre-Order sale. Where the only thing thats "Free" is the bullshit... (and I heard a rumour that they might even monetize the bullshit).

Particular high praise and thanks to Vlammenzee this week for his artwork. He has outdone himself.

Special thanks to Jason T Barnes, Mario J. Martinez, Dean McGee, Steve and all of my Patreon supporters. Your unwavering support means that when all the bad things happen, technically, its all your fault! Thank you.
