The Division Let's Talk | The Inconvenient Truth About World Tiers

After much hype surrounding world tiers, it finally hit me today while playing. I've played 3 hours of content and I am still stuck in world 1. I have been testing out the speed to level up in the world since PTS started and so far with 3 hours played, I am sitting at a gear score of 156 and I need to be 158 to get to the next level tier.

This made me realize that this gate was blocking me and I wasn't getting over until I did some repetition. I needed to get to 158 to get to world 2 and then 177 for world 3.

I had never noticed this gate before but now it was front and center. Skill Up, Arrekz, Breazy Peazy, Like Butter, and MarcoStyles and even myself praised the world tier system when it was talked about, but then again we are all at the top level and won't be gated in by the tier system. New players, casuals and solo players will be gated by this.

Seems a bit like they want to increase your time to play instead of helping you get to the end of the game loot too fast.
