I went into The Division with doubt in my heart. I got excited when I saw the E3 footage all those years ago, got excited when I saw the Frostbit game engine tech demo a year later and had my hype bubble promptly burst when I started seeing comparison videos between the closed beta and the E3 footage. I expected some downgrading but the new gameplay left me with a mediocre taste in my mouth. However, the open beta gave me a chance to form my own opinions and I have jotted down a few ponderings for discussion.
