F-Zero GX is a racing video game developed by Amusement Vision, which is housed within SEGA, and published by Nintendo. It released on July 25, 2003 in Japan and August 25, 2003 in North America for the GameCube. This game is the successor to F-Zero X on the Nintendo 64, revolving around high-speed races on grand tracks, requiring a keen sense of memorization and reflexes. It is a difficult game, with up to 30 racers per race. There are 41 racers with their personal F-Zero machines, possessing different stats that make them unique. Races can be done via the Grand Prix, multiplayer, or the Story Mode, where the player plays as Captain Falcon, whose goal is to win yet another F-Zero Grand Prix while taking on the likes of Black Shadow and Deathborn. F-Zero machines also have many functions, such as spin and side attacks, slide turning and drifting, and boosting at the cost of the machine's energy. All of these mechanics lead to a challenging racing game with super crazy tracks.
