0The Effect of Blended Learning Simulation on Learning Outcome
Layman Abstract : As aviation training grows alongside advances in technology, there’s a need for better teaching methods. This study looked at a new way to train students in Aerodrome Flight Information by combining online briefings (ebriefing), inperson roleplaying, and feedback sessions (debriefing).
To see how well this new method worked, researchers tested it with aviation students at the Indonesian Civil Aviation Institute. They gathered feedback from education experts and students through interviews, questionnaires, and classroom observations. A total of 22 students took part in the final testing.
The results showed that students learned more (with scores improving by 12.55 points), paid more attention (rated 4.5 out of 5), and both students and instructors were more satisfied with the new method (rating it 4.47 out of 5). Overall, this blended learning model proved to be effective and can be used to improve aviation training at the institution.
