I encountered a bug during this recording. So anytime I went into the Dunmers house before doing anything else the game would crash after I killed and took the dagger. I'm not sure why this is the case but I spent the better part of 10 minutes trying to make this work but seemingly going into the Nord's house and taking the ring first made things... stable? Is anyone else having this issue?
