In this chapter, Miriel's first major mission finally comes to an end, as she is able to locate the remains of the betrayed King Lysandus in his secret burial chamber and extract the truth out of his restless spirit. The next step is to seek out the traitor, Lord Woodborne of Wayrest, recover some incriminating evidence in his chambers, and punish the traitor, setting Lysandus' spirit free and finally setting Dagerfall at ease. However, as a consequence of the Daggerfall army sacking Woodborne Hall, the Totem of Tiber Septim falls into the hands of King Gothryd, and it is now up to Miriel to retrieve the treasure from the storage vaults of Castle Daggerfall and make a difficult decision on who should be its rightful owner...
