In this chapter, Miriel pulls another favor for the King of Worms by descending into the depths of Castle Sentinel and retrieving for him the life essence of a formerly powerful sorcerer ("Soul Of A Lich"), gaining some useful information on the mysterious "Underking" in return. Meanwhile, Queen Akorithi of Sentinel herself hires Miriel to infiltrate the rival Castle Wayrest and steal for her an enchanted painting that carries dark memories of a certain conflict between Wayrest and Daggerfall ("Painting The Truth"). Finally, because of her reputation as a slayer of innocents (due to the lycanthropy curse), Miriel receives an offer to join The Dark Brotherhood, which she pragmatically accepts...
