In this chapter, Elen begins her second northward journey, aiming to return to the Urshilaku camp to learn how to fulfill the rest of the prophecies. Multiple distractions await her en route, though, as she first stops by Maelkashishi, the Daedric Shrine to Sheogorath, to defeat some baddies and show compassion to a lesser baddie (as well as procure a handy Daedric Bow for future purposes). Next, in Gnisis she takes her time to do some favors for the Imperial Legion, such as rescuing a careless tax collector from a Telvanni wizard and even uncovering a minor plot against the Emperor himself. Finally, at Khuul our heroine clears out a local egg mine infested with evil, defeating a naughty witch and her minions with some nifty conjuration magic.
