How to upgrade the Deathbrand Armor, a new unique set of armor introduced in the Dragonborn DLC. It's Haknir Death-Brand's armor, an old pirate king.
I know it's a little bit late, but just something I decided to upload while I make the Bioshock videos.
The Deathbrand Armor is a set of Light Armor, meaning that you'll probably need to invest some skill points into Light Armor.
If you've used up all your skill points & didn't invest some into Light Armor, you can use the Black Book "Waking Dreams" to reset all the perks for a skill tree at the price of a dragon soul.
You'll need Stalhrim, which you can find all over Solstheim, to upgrade the Deathbrand Armor. I've included the Stalhrim Source landmark, which will be unmarked on world map until you've completed it's related quest "A New Source of Stalhrim".
There's no need to use the smithin potion I used in the the video, but it doesn't hurt to use one if you've got one in your inventory.
To make the Deathbrand Set 100% complete, you might wan't to obtain Bloodscythe & Soulrender from the ghost of Haknir. I'll have a video on that shortly.
