So for these next 2 parts, I'll be doing massive Skill level grinding in order to accomplish 2 goals:

1. To purchase a house in Whiterun so that I can have a place to stash my junk.
2. Get enough skill in Alchemy and Smithing to improve the hell out of the Whiterun Guard apparel so that my permanent follower will want to wear it.

I've edited out as much as I can to at least get an idea how I go about to doing these things, but even then I apologize for the boring videos.

First things first, I max out Pickpocketing, by getting at least 1000 Gold and reverse pickpocketing the Horse Carraige guy outside of town and stealing it back over and over again. The idea is to start out by giving him 100-300 gold and slowly work your way to the 1000s to get the levels much higher.

Next I visit Dawnstar and loot from the infamous glitched merchant chest to get the items to sell to the merchants for lots of gold. I also along the way get some quests for Kharjo's stolen amulet, The Alik'r search for a woman and the Blacksmith family wanting to get a book....oh and I lulzy get into a fight with some hired thugs who were sent by I'm assuming the innkeeper at Solitude who I stole his monies from *trollface.jpg*

There's also a trick to reset a merchant's wares by saving, hitting them, then load the save. I use this method to acquire materials, enchanted gear and ingredients I normally would have to explore around Skyrim to acquire. It's honestly annoying, but it's the only option I got since I'm holding on doing any exploring and quests until I get everything set for the rest of the run.

Lastly, I do not show of leveling Smithing to 100 (since I couldnt be bothered to record that). What I did to max that out was I purchased (using the money from selling all the loot from the Dawnstar chest) a bunch of Dwarven Ingots from "War Maidens" at Whiterun and use them to craft a lot of Dwarven bows (they rapidly increase your Smithing skill). To get them to restock more, just do the trick I mentioned above. Of course make sure to activate and deactivating the appropriate Guardian stones to level these skills quicker.

Obviously this is a lot of cheesing that I'm doing, but the thing is, this isnt exactly for my benefit. Yes I do gain a lot of levels, but I'm not exactly getting stronger nor am I outfitting myself with the best gear...in fact I technically HAVE NO Armor protection....this is all so that I can get my permanent follower to wear the crappy Whiterun Guard armor instead of their default Steel armor since it's my favorite looking armor in the game.
