Random battles around Folken Hills. I play as Edna.

Sorry, I got kinda lazy this weekend and didnt upload this sooner than it should've.

Finally this game cuts me some slack from bosses. In this video, I demonstrate our new party member in action. Edna is pretty awesome. She starts with some tasty looking spells such as Air Pressure and since various enemies around here are weak to Earth, battling in here is a breeze.

Some new things to note are the return of Giganto Monsters (introduced in Tales of Vesperia) and Discoveries (introduced in Tales of Graces). The Giganto monsters in this game are easily identified by their glowing "Impurity" within their bodies and unlike Tales of Xillia 2, YOU DO NOT WANT to fight them the first time you meet them. You'll have to wait till your characters get stronger. I'm assuming they're related to specific quests as well so we'll probably get some huge reward for felling them later.

Lastly, there are the discovery spots. Just like in Graces, you can inspect specific scenery within towns, fields and dungeons in order to record them in your book. Finding these nets you free AP and you'll also get special skits upon inspection.
