The conquering of Markarth. The douchebag that made the civil war mod didn't consider how this city and its takeover quest structure would work when he decided to make it so you'd be kill-on-sight to guards and various other people in opposing holds, so even with Markarth owned by Stormcloaks in the end, I'm going to be stuck missing content because a few random innocents got killed by a follower or the guards. Having to fight multiple invincible enemies sure is fun.
After about two weeks of a fun new game that nevertheless feels unfinished (just buy the dlc to get the rest of the game bro) and finishing an older game, it's about time to get back to Skyrim. Of course, I've done a great job of it by waking up early unintentionally, going back to sleep, then sleeping in an hour past my intended weekend wakeup time dreaming of a town being invaded by soldiers who were all level 82 complete with hp bars and name plates, someone stealing a bugout bag I had near pasta dishes for some reason, and a scene transition into some warehouse full of zombies where traversing higher while pilfering partially loaded weapons from those who already turned until the same soldiers arrived was the only way to survive. Oh yeah, we're supposed to be like stopping a world-eating wyvern and a civil war caused by thalmor mer supremacists who took over the empire because the council selected weak, pitiful rulers after the fall of the Septims.
